About QHCE

THE STORY
NINE CHASSIS. ONE GARAGE.
QHCE started in a garage in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania with a BMW 540i G30 and one problem: every exhaust that sounded right cost three grand, every exhaust that was cheap sounded like a pop-can. Neither option made sense.
THE FIRST SAMPLE
It took six months. 304 stainless, 1.5mm wall, hand-welded mid-pipe, electronic valves wired into a remote-controlled actuator. Carbon fiber tips laser-engraved with the QHCE mark. The first sample bolted onto the 540i in November and it sounded like a B58 should: civil on the highway with the valves closed, war-cry on cold starts with them open.
People started asking. Friends. Forum members. The guy at the gas station. After the third "where'd you get that?" the part-number became a product line.
THE LINEUP
Nine chassis. All B58, S58, S55, VR30, 2.0T platforms. BMW gets the most coverage because BMW is what we drive. Audi B9, Lexus IS, Infiniti Q50/Q60, Mercedes W205 round it out for the rest of the enthusiast Northeast.

WHO BUILT THIS
QHCE is one guy — a 20-year-old Lehigh University engineering student who couldn't find the exhaust he wanted, so he built it. No call center. No marketing department. No private equity backer. You email QHCE and the same person who designed the part picks up the message.
That has trade-offs. Lead times are real. Stock is limited. The phone won't be picked up at 3am. But every catback ships with the founder's eyes on it before it goes in the box, and that's how it'll stay.
WHAT'S NEXT
June 2026: first 17 sets arrive at the Bethlehem shop and start shipping. We're taking pre-orders now to keep the queue manageable. After that, two new chassis per quarter through 2027. If your platform isn't on the list yet, drop your chassis in the contact form — the platforms with the most requests get prioritized.
