Each product page lists exact year/chassis/engine compatibility. Catbacks bolt to the OEM mid-pipe flange — if your car came from the factory with that flange (every modern BMW, Audi, Lexus, Infiniti, Mercedes on our list does), it bolts on. No cutting, no welding, no adapter. Reuse the OEM hangers and gaskets.

No. A catback exhaust replaces only the post-cat portion. It doesn't touch the cats, downpipes, or anything the ECU monitors. No check engine light, no fuel trim issues, no tune required.

2-3 hours in a home garage with a floor jack and stands. 45 minutes on a lift. The hardest part is unbolting the OEM exhaust without dropping it on yourself. Comes with full PDF instructions.

The tips are positioned to OEM dimensions. Any aftermarket diffuser designed for the stock car will accept these tips. Lowering won't affect ground clearance — the muffler sits at the same height as the OEM unit. If you've got 3+ inches of drop and a non-OEM diffuser, message us with photos before ordering.

Valves closed: 5-7 dB over stock at idle. Cabin-civil at cruise. Passes 95 dB noise meter tests in PA/NY/NJ/CT. Valves open: full personality — deep snarl on cold starts, war-cry on WOT, snap-shut on lift. We can't do a dB number on open mode because it depends on RPM, gear, and how much you hate your neighbors.

With valves closed at highway cruise: no. The chamber is tuned to suppress the 60-80 Hz drone zone. With valves open at 70 mph: yes, it will drone — that's physics. Close the valves with the keyfob and it goes away.

Sound clips for each chassis will go live as the inventory ships in June 2026. If you want to hear a specific platform, message us — we can usually share a sample recording within 24 hours.

Short answer: it's a catback, the cats are untouched, so emissions stays factory-legal. The noise level depends on whether the valves are open or closed when you're being measured. For off-road and track use this is unambiguously legal. For street use in noise-strict municipalities, drive with the valves closed. We sell this as off-road / track use only and the buyer assumes responsibility for local compliance.

Cat-back exhausts don't touch any inspection criteria (no cats removed, no OBD codes thrown). Visual inspection: no aftermarket exhaust is technically OEM, but these inspectors aren't trained to ID. We have customers in all four states that pass without comment.

Lifetime structural warranty on the pipes — if it cracks, rusts through, or fails at a weld, we replace it. 2 years on the electronic valves and remote system. 90 days on cosmetic finish (the carbon fiber tips and the laser engraving).

30-day return window if the kit is unused, unmounted, and in original packaging. Restocking fee is $150 to cover shipping + repackaging. If you installed it and don't like the sound, we'll do an exchange for a different muffler tune (but not a full refund).

First 17 sets arrive in our Bethlehem, PA warehouse June 1, 2026. Pre-orders ship in the order they were placed. Expect 7-10 business days from your order date to your door (UPS Ground from PA to PA/NY/NJ/CT is 1-2 days, further is up to a week).

Free UPS Ground on orders $1,000+ within the continental US. $50 flat for anything under that threshold (we only have one item under $1,000, the carbon tip replacement set). AK/HI/PR is +$75. International is currently not offered.
