SOUND PROFILE
B58 with the valves open is one of the best-sounding inline-sixes ever made. Closed: subtle deepening over stock, civil at cruise. Open: factory-supercar growl on cold starts, gear-shift cracks on WOT, throttle-blip burble on lift.
Measured at 50 ft, idle, ambient temp. Highway WOT 5-10 dB higher.
MATERIAL SPECS
- Pipes: 304 stainless steel, 1.5mm wall thickness
- Welds: TIG-welded, back-purged for OEM-grade finish
- Muffler chamber: Multi-stage with electronic valve actuator
- Tips: Carbon fiber wrapped, 304 stainless inner, QHCE laser-engraved
- Heat shielding: Spot-welded stainless wrap on the muffler section
INSTALLATION
2-3 hours in a home garage with a floor jack and stands. 45 minutes on a lift. Standard hand tools — no welding, no cutting, no tuning. New gaskets and OEM-spec clamps are included in the kit.
WARRANTY
Lifetime structural warranty on the pipes — cracks, weld failures, rust-through, we cover it. 2 years on the electronic valve actuators and remote system. 90 days on cosmetic finish (carbon fiber tips and laser engraving).
